If you love to do your own yard work or just hang out with your family and friends, then you must visit the Tech Terrace Park. One of the best places for a family get-together is in the park. Popular among dog lovers, this spacious open park has many shady trees, walking paths & picnic benches. Located at the corner of 10th Street SE in Washington DC, The park is open every day except on Saturdays when it is closed down due to heavy rain.

In addition to the great park with many activities, The park also has an interactive playground where children of all ages can have fun. Also available are boat launches, bridges, a concession stand, as well as several other playground features. This is one place that you should definitely not miss if you happen to be in the area. Just make sure that you do bring your kids here before they drive into town since the number of kids in the park is large.

Another great attraction of The park is the Tech Terrace Deck, which offers a great view of the park from the deck. The deck is also available for rent. You can choose to have a fully open deck, which allows you to sit and dine outdoors, or choose to go with the closed in option. There are also lots of tables and chairs close to the pool area for your outdoor get-togethers.

Besides the playground and swimming areas, The park also has two pavilions, located on either sides of the main entrance of the complex. These pavilions contain a basketball court, a mini golf course, a sand area, and a play set for children. A playground area is located near the pavilions, and a small concession stand located within its premises.

If you are wondering how to reach The park, then you will not be short of options. It is conveniently located close to many different D.C. destinations such as the Capital metro area, Maryland and Virginia. Moreover, it is very close to Dulles International Airport. There is also a free shuttle service that will take you to the park on a regular basis. The Tech Terrace Park is conveniently located close to the DuPont Circle in Washington, D.C.

The park itself has a wide range of things to do. Kids will enjoy the playground, which offers many exciting games. There is also a large playground area located along the beach part of the complex, as well as a pavilion with an outdoor bar.
