When: 4ORE! Golf is a combination of golf, good food and great fun for the whole family. Players of all skill levels and ages will enjoy hitting golf balls off the tee pads located in one of the 60 climate controlled, open tee boxes which can host up to 6 players at a given time. You can play golf anytime of the year as there are no restrictions on the time of day or night you can play.

Where: The location of the 4ORE Golf course is at the Van Leer Country Club, located at Van Leer, Taunton Dorset. This country club is the oldest one in the area. It was built in the late 1800’s by a local carpenter and businessman, Robert G. Van Leer. He wanted a golf course that would rival those in the city. He knew that he could not go through the process of building the course by himself, so he approached his friend, John C. Calvert, about buying the land and the club buildings and getting the site developed.

The courses are built in a rolling terrain with rolling hills. The greens are made from the finest fairways and greens available in Lubbock. These greens are located in six climate-controlled, open, sand-filled, and grassy sites and offer players sixty minutes of golf when they play 4ORE Golf.

Other features of the course include: Open holes with signage giving directions to the next hole. Mini golf has been an option on the course but has not been developed as of yet. There is a putting practice putting green with nine holes of driving range, putting, and chipping greens. The area has been specifically designed for groups, allowing four people to play at one time without conflict or noise from other groups. One golf cart for each team is parked on the course for players to use to move between holes during play

Located off Old Telephone Road in Lubbock, Texas, the August entertainment complex Lubbock offers a large selection of dining, live entertainment, and golfing. There are two restaurants in the complex: the Rusty Pool and Wildfire Grill. Both restaurants offer a large variety of appetizers and bar food, along with several different options for dining. The Rusty Pool has four floor-level tables for dining with an outdoor bar, while the Wildfire Grill serves up Texas style BBQ and Grills out of an old-fashioned gas station-style grill.

Inside the Lubbock Entertainment Complex you’ll find two championship golf courses: Eagle Bend Golf Course and the Stony Man Golf Course. Eagle Bend features nine holes with two water hazards, while the Stony Man has three holes with water, sand, and bunkers. If you’re looking for golfing in a relaxed atmosphere, you should definitely consider playing a round or two at either of these two golf courses. also check
